"The timing of the fair is good as everyone in the electronics industry gathers in this part of the world in October and many of them are here at the fair. It gives me the opportunity to meet with people that it would be difficult to see otherwise. I meet with existing suppliers, but this fair also offers possibilities to co-operate with new companies for the coming year. We represent a number of electronics companies and have a distribution network in Greece, so I visit this fair regularly."
Xenios Zazopoulos, Managing Director, K.A. Zazopoulos S.A., Greece
"Leading Edge Group is an Australian-based buying group; I buy consumer electronics for two retailers – one with 51 outlets and the other 152 outlets. I come here to walk around the different halls and have a good look at what is in the market. I am interested in almost any type of electronic products. I collect a lot of brochures on the first day, and then return to the companies that interest me most later on. The facilities at the fairground have got better and better over the years – both the layout of the halls as well as services like the food outlets."
Lee Scott, Merchandise Manager, Leading Edge Group, Australia

“John Manufacturing was one of the first exhibitors to join this show, many years ago; today we specialise in spotlights and torches. This event helps us to meet with our customers and it provides a lot of opportunities to explore new markets. Because there are buyers here from all over the world, we can also receive a lot of feedback on the latest development in individual markets - we can get in touch with what the end-users want. This year we’ve been meeting buyers from many different markets, including lots from Europe, such as the UK, plus Japan, and the Chinese mainland, of course. Among our new products attracting serious interest is the quick-charge spotlight, aimed at the professional market such as emergency services like the police. I’d like to add that I also appreciate the service and support we get from the organiser here.”
Ivan Chan, Export Manager, John Manufacturing Limited, Hong Kong
“VTech has been exhibiting at this fair since 1981. This is the largest electronics show in the world, so here we can find a lot of international buyers and we can leverage it to meet many of our existing customers; it is also very professionally organised. We display our latest products here – for example this year we have an interactive e-reader system that is a world first, and a hand-held touch learning system, both for children ages 3-7. Many of the buyers we have met so far have been from emerging markets, such as Brazil, Russia and the Middle East. This is very good for us as more than 90% of our group sales are to North America and Europe, so we are eager to expand into these new markets. We’ve also had meetings with some of our existing customers, including retail buyers from Toys’R’Us and Target.”
Grace K.L. Pang, Director of Corporate Communications and Strategic Marketing, VTech Holdings Limited, Hong Kong

“In business for six years, we distribute a wide range of electronic components and products. This is my second visit to electronicAsia. The fair can help me find more suitable products at competitive prices. Apart from electronic components, I am looking for suppliers of testing instruments this year. Everything is very good here and I expect to find some new suppliers.”
Greger Andersson, Managing Director, Electrokit Sweden AB, Sweden
“Pietcard is a company with a business history of 20 years. We produce and sell electronic equipment for motorcycles in Argentina. This is our first visit to Hong Kong. We like the city and the show. There is a good concentration of exhibitors and we have found some interesting items already. We will definitely visit the fair again.”
Muller Fabian, Manager, Pietcard Electrónica S.R.L., Argentina

“Our company specialises in the licensing business for electronics products. This is our sixth-year participation in electronicAsia to promote our service and raise our profile in the marketplace. We have generated positive responses from new customers including those from Korea, Taiwan and Chinese Mainland. The fair has a good concentration of exhibitors and buyers, and it is getting better and better each year. This year, we are also promoting our 3D TV technology through the exhibition.”
Jennifer Tang, Office Manager, S.I.SV.EL. (Hong Kong) Ltd, Hong Kong
“We are a long-time supporter to electronicAsia. The fair is on our calendar every year to maintain our presence in the industry. It serves as a great platform to meet customers and introduce our latest product development. Our highlights for this year’s exhibition include aluminum electrolytic capacitors, ballast products for energy saving lamps and LED lamps as well as energy storage solutions. We can take advantage of the fair to expand our business effectively and HKTDC has been doing a good job running the show.”
Stanley Wong, Business Development Director, Man Yue Electronics Company Limited, Hong Kong
