 “Our company produces kitchen appliances and small home appliances under our own brands including De’Longhi, Kenwood and Braun, with an extensive sales network covering more than 80 countries and regions. We started to expand our production capacity two years ago by building two new factories. We are now ready to accept OEM orders. This is our first-time participation in the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, which is one of the best electronics shows in the world. We hope to promote our OEM service to worldwide buyers and also find new distributors for our own brands through this important fair. So far, we have found potential distributors for the emerging markets in Southeast Asia.”

 “Founded in Hong Kong in 1991, Yuneec specialises in the production of model planes. We launched manned electric-powered planes at the end of 2014 and drones in February 2015. Intel recently invested US$60 million in our company, underscoring its growing interest in drones. This is our first exhibition at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair to look for distributors from different countries and regions for our drones. The Hong Kong Electronics Fair is a large trade show that provides an important marketing tool for us to introduce our Yuneec brand to international buyers. In addition, the organiser has lined up media interviews for us to promote our brand. So far, we have met with more buyers from Europe and the US than from Asia.”

 “This is the first time that Haier Computer has joined the Hong Kong Electronics Fair to showcase our latest IT products such as traditional notebooks, gaming notebooks and 2-in-1 tablets as well as IT solutions such as smart education and smart home. The fair provides an ideal channel for us to introduce our IT products and solutions to buyers from all over the world. Apart from meeting existing customers to discuss new orders, we have also found about 10 potential buyers who are retailers and wholesalers from Africa, Asia, Europe and the US on the first day of the fair. They are very interested in our notebooks and 2-in-1 tablets and have shown their intention to co-operate with us.”

 “We are a distributor and retailer of smartphones, GPS, tablets, drones and related accessories as well as alcohol analysers in Poland. Apart from distributing international brands, we launched our own brand – Legato last year. I like visiting trade fairs because I can see real products and test their quality and performance. This is my first time visiting the Hong Kong Electronics Fair. It is a very nice fair which brings together many products and many suppliers, so it’s easy to do business. I am particularly interested in remote-controlled toys such as cars and drones, USB flash drives, USB fans and alcohol analysers. I have met with more than 100 suppliers in just two days and shortlisted 10 potential suppliers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Korea for further negotiations. I’ll place orders for USB flash drives, USB fans and alcohol analysers as soon as possible to meet the Christmas shopping season.”

 “Established in 2009, our company, a subsidiary of Djarum Group, is one of the biggest e-commerce companies in Indonesia. Currently, gadgets and electronics represent 70 per cent of our business turnover. This is my second visit to the Hong Kong Electronics Fair. It is the biggest electronics fair in the world with so many exhibitors, making it easier for me to source new products for my customers. At the fair, I am looking for cases and cables for smartphones and tablets, USB flash drives, WiFi routers and Bluetooth speakers. Up till now, I have found five to six potential suppliers for these items. As we plan to buy next year, we’ll collect quotations and shipment details from these suppliers first and then keep in touch with them. Our trial order will be 500 pieces per product.”

 "Microwave Solutions designs and produces a full range of X-Band and a selected range of K-Band microwave Doppler Motion Detector Units. These units can be incorporated into a wide range of sensors to detect motion and for various applications such as intrusion alarms, lighting control, energy management, speed measurement, home automation and automatic doors. We made our debut exhibition at electronicAsia last year and successfully concluded partnerships with two Chinese mainland companies in Shenzhen for the distribution of our products. We’re very pleased to be here again this year to meet with more customers. This fair is a perfect place to expand our business in Asia. In the first day of exhibition, we’ve already established contacts with 25 potential customers from different places such as India, Chinese mainland and Taiwan.  “Symmetron is one of the three largest distributors of electronic components in Russia with an annual turnover of about US$100 million. This is my first visit to electronicAsia to find new suppliers. I’ve met with many exhibitors from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong. There are some interesting items such as connectors, relays and displays. We will conduct testing for samples to examine their quality and choose the five best suppliers to establish business relationships. The amount of potential orders to be concluded will exceed US$100,000, subject to final negotiations. This is an excellent show. My visit marks the first step of our efforts to explore more sourcing opportunities in the Asian region. I would like to see the Hong Kong fair grow even bigger in future offering a wider range of products for us to choose and buy.”

I have been visiting electronicAsia over the past six years and this is a very good fair for sourcing. There is a good chance to conclude business with them by next month and the potential amount of orders will be more than US$100,000 in total.
