“I have been attending this show for the past five years – I come to source electronics from Hong Kong and Chinese mainland suppliers for my company’s Btech brand. We are particularly interested in telecoms and consumer electronics such as calculators, translators, Bluetooth items, walkie-talkies and computer accessories. This is a good fair for me because of the large numbers of suppliers taking part, and the quality of the products is good. I visit my existing suppliers and look for new ones, too. I’d say the split is about 10% existing and the rest are new to me. Among the most interesting things I have seen this year are iPhone accessories. I like this fair – it is getting bigger every year!”
Laszlo Bakonyi, General Manager, Btech Hungary Ltd., Hungary
“Our group is a consumer electronics retailer with 31 outlets in the Czech Republic and 11 in Slovakia, and we are part of the pan-European Kesa Group. This is my first visit to this show – I was attracted to it because unlike similar fairs here you can speak directly with the manufacturers and see products straight from the factory – some are still in the process of being fully developed. I have collected a bag full of brochures and a phone full of product photos, and I will follow up with my colleagues after the show. I’ve come across some unusual ideas and applications. But most of all, I have been able to get a good overview of the entire consumer electronics industry here.”
Pavel Slama, Managing Director, Datart International, a.s., Czech Republic

“We decided to come to this fair on the advice of our customers, especially those in the Chinese mainland. In fact just on the first day, we had serious inquiries from about 20 buyers, including those from Japan, Egypt, Netherlands, Paraguay, Italy, and even from our home country Mexico – we had never met this company at home! We are very happy that we came because it would have been difficult to meet these kinds of buyers anywhere else. We already sell our licensed electronics in Latin America and the Chinese mainland, and are just now expanding in Europe and here we can meet retailers and distributors from all over the world. We will be able to close some orders by the end of the fair. The experience has been very good for us.”
Luis G. Cordova Almanza, Director Europa, AMEUROP MEXICO SA DE CV, Mexico
“We have joined this fair for the first time to launch our streaming TV player on to the global market, following its introduction in Korea. We want to meet with OEM companies and distributors who can partner with us and control the product in their own countries. We’re especially interested in the US and Europe, and we are pleased to say that we have already had a lot of interest from visitors from both those areas, as well as Australia, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. We were attracted to this show because of its reputation for attracting quality buyers from around the world and we will meet suitable partners as a result.”
Hana Kim, Strategic Sales Division, COSTEL, Korea

“I am here to source modems and electronic components for our new products. This fair showcases lots of products which are exactly what I am looking for. Though it is my first time being here, I find this fair very organised and easy to access. There are so much for me to see and I have already identified several right suppliers."
Jaspal Sarai, CEO, Symstream Technologies, Australia
"We are the distributor and agency to provide our customers with total solution of solar energy projects. We come here to look for solar energy products as well as quality suppliers. It is easy to find what we want and there are different types of networking sessions for us to expand our network."

“We have participated in the electronicAsia for many years and we usually display our high-end devices at the fair. This fair is the largest in Asia and many of our clients come here almost every year. Through this platform, we can maintain our exposure and corporate image as well as keep contacts with our long-term customers. We participate in 3-4 fairs a year and still find electronicAsia is one of the most representative fairs in the industry. The fair promotion is very good as many of our clients know this fair somewhere around the world. We are also satisfied with the professional standard which is persistent every year.“
Murphy W.C. Cheung, General Manager, Marketing Department, Truly Semiconductors Ltd., Hong Kong
“Our agency mainly helps Korean companies explore new business opportunities in promising markets. We lead a pavilion of eight Korean companies to participate in electronicAsia for the second year. This fair has got reputation in the industry and we are impressed by large variety of products and quality buyers. Our companies are happy about the result as each of them has already got solid buyer contacts on the first day of the event. Though we target international buyers, those in Hong Kong and the mainland China are also our valued customers. We are planning to participate in the Spring Electronic Fair and electronicAsia next year again.”
Yung Ju Sung, Business Management, Business Support Division, Daejeon Technopark, Korea
