A new certification service for compliance testing of far infrared (FIR) products is now provided by Hong Kong Far Infrared Rays Association (HKFIRA), announced at a press conference held on 13 October.

“We produce weather stations, clocks and radios, and have been in business for 42 years – we’ve been participating in this fair since the beginning. It is a good event; lots of customers come into Hong Kong to attend it, and it is well organised and well advertised with good traffic in the halls. The timing allows our customers to make early selections for next summer. We take the opportunity to introduce new items. We’ve received buyers from everywhere at our booth this year – it’s the same every year, but I think there are more American buyers than the last couple of years. We see a whole range of buyers, from importers and agents to retailers. Every year we find new customers here.”

“This fair attracts buyers from worldwide, and here we can show our new products and display our production capabilities to large numbers of customers. Our major market is in Europe, but our target this year is to expand into North America, and we believe this fair can help us. We’re taking the opportunity to introduce our new SRM technology, incorporated into small appliances it helps to make them more efficient, silent and energy saving.
